Wednesday. the Los Angeles Kings (24-14-6) look to continue their hot run over the last ten games against their NorCal rivals, the San Jose Sharks (13-21-8).

Puck Drops at 7:00 PM.

Kings players and coaches were adamant that trap games don't exist in the NHL, however, if they were real, Wednesday's matchup would be a trap game for the Kings.

A struggling Sharks team who've won just three of their last 10 games, with two of them coming against fellow bottom-feeder, is the kind of team that can shock the Kings if they aren't careful.

This is a Sharks team with plenty of players to hurt you as well. Erik Karlsson, Timo Meier, Tomas Hertl & Logan Couture are all high-quality players the Kings have to worry about.

The Kings aren't without star power either though. With Kevin Fiala playing some of his best hockey since coming over from Minnesota.

The Kings will be hoping for another explosive game from their power play, after posting four goals against the Edmonton Oilers on Monday. And, ideally, another big night from their penalty kill, who blanked the Oiler's power play on six occasions.

A win Wednesday would bring the Kings to 7-3 over their last 10 games, a great start to the second half of their season.
